Omni Law’s dispute resolution practice in Singapore combines solid legal expertise, wide-ranging international experience and strong regional connections to deliver top-notch advice. We have acted in arbitration proceedings under all major institutional rules, particularly, ICC, LCIA, SIAC, SCC, HKIAC, ICSID, as well as ad hoc arbitrations under UNCITRAL rules, adjudications and mediations. Our experience also includes proceedings before international courts such as the International Court of Justice.

Notable arbitration-related litigation include:

  • Acting for a foreign state-owned entity in a sensitive sector in defending an injunction brought by the concessionaire under a Concession Agreement relating to vital state-owned operation.

  • Acting for the broker in its agency agreement dispute with an international insurer over the right to arbitration over court proceedings.

  • Advising the Singapore arm of a global construction group on post-award proceedings in respect of an award issued in respect of a S$15 million SIAC arbitration claim brought by its subcontractor regarding a settlement over a landmark construction project in Singapore.

  • Acting for a global solar photovoltaic integrator in resisting an application brought by a Chinese industrial machinery manufacturer in the Singapore High Court to set aside an arbitral award issued by the ICC International Court of Arbitration.
