We have extensive experience in international and domestic corporate and commercial disputes, and are skilled in running complex multi-jurisdictional disputes across multiple fora. We employ holistic dispute resolution strategies to obtain cost-effective and quick resolutions for our clients, including acting in negotiations as well as in mediation, litigation, arbitration and adjudication proceedings.
Recent experience includes:

Acting for a Korean distributor of retail fashion-related products in an SIAC arbitration against a French owner of a fashion and skincare brand in relation to inter alia breaches of a distribution agreement and fraudulent misrepresentations.

Acting for a lessee and developer of a resort on an island in Maldives in an SIAC arbitration commenced by an asset management company in respect of an asset and project management agreement.

Acting for a Chinese State-owned entity in an SCC arbitration concerning a consultancy agreement against a Middle Eastern management company in relation to a Saudi Arabian petrochemical project worth US$750 million.

Acting in SIAC proceedings for an international construction group against a claim brought by its subcontractor in a dispute over the validity of a settlement agreement that was reached in respect of claims totalling more than S$35 million.

Acting for a publicly listed global telecommunications service provider in SIAC arbitration proceedings in relation to a multi-million Euro dispute arising out of an international reciprocal telecommunication services agreement.

Acting for an Asian State-owned entity in two UNCITRAL ad hoc arbitrations involving the termination of a concession agreement valued at over US$1 billion.

Representing a South Asian Government-linked company in its dispute over the termination of a Concession Agreement involving all aspects of an international airport operation, a dispute valued at US$1 billion.

Acting in multi-fora litigation and arbitration proceedings arising out of a shareholders’ dispute in respect of a S$300 million Southeast Asian oil and gas distribution joint venture company, involving allegations of breach of fiduciary duties.

Assisting a South Asian Government in reaching an amicable settlement in its dispute with an international accounting firm.
